"We recently sold our comfortable home and downsized to a patio home in a nearby community. It was a bit of a culture shock moving to less space.

One of our largest concerns was the kitchen in the patio home. We had left a very comfortable kitchen that was open and spacious, the result of a major renovation done years before. Our patio home had an apartment sized kitchen tucked in a corner. It had little storage and/or counter space and was “original issue” to a house built in 1992.

We started researching the many kitchen / bath remodelers active in the area. We approached Woodville House in our investigation and met Laura Reid Riggin. I noted their portfolio contained lovely projects in homes far grander than ours. The size of our project did not concern Laura. She came to our house, viewed the situation, listened to our desires, both of project and budget and said she would respond with some ideas. When we next met with her she presented her ideas with a full CAD presentation. We felt that our project was just as important to her as projects many times larger. We signed up and from then to project completion, we were never out of touch with Laura. We were never lost to bigger projects elsewhere. We knew what was going to happen and when and if we had a question, Laura was available.

The installers doing the work were skilled, friendly and sensitive our needs. They performed like it was their kitchen they were working on. The result is a totally re-made kitchen that is not only clean, modern and attractive but far more efficient, containing at least twice the storage and counter space.

"I have used the services provided at the big box stores in the past. We scheduled an appointment

and met with them and it felt exactly how the big box store operates, you are a number and their job is to get through the numbers as quick as possible. We went through the process and got a quote. I wasn't comfortable with the level of knowledge of the associate we were working with so I decide to reach out to a few custom kitchen places. Woodville House was the first to respond. We made an appointment and we were so glad we did! There are a lot of things you don't think about when designing a kitchen and Laura at Woodville walked us through the entire process, gave us suggestions based on our tastes and designed an awesome, functional kitchen for us. She was extremely knowledgeable, punctual on all appointments both at their store location in Bridgeville as well as coming to our home. Through the entire process she was prompt with responses to questions and even responded to a question while she was on vacation (I had no expectation of this). The experience was great, the professionalism and responsiveness better than I've experienced with past kitchen designs. As for the cost, completely comparable to the big box stores while getting more of a feeling of that 1:1 experience, thus in my opinion a far greater value. "I was over a month into working with Costco and Home Depot on designs/cabinets when I stopped into Woodville house to look at knobs/pulls and get some countertop ideas. By great fortune, one thing led to another because of the customer service, intuition and experience from Their VP of Sales Laura Reid Riggin who did not see me For what I was, “just a browsing customer with no sale potential”. Once I realized that we would be able to get superior quality cabinets for less money than I was on the verge of buying, i was extremely relieved to hand over our project in Laura’s experiences hands!! She literally solved every possible dilemma with ease. Not only did we save money to get quality cabinets, but the time and stress she saved us was priceless!! We have since made a deep seat cushion for the window bench and I’m so thankful that Laura suggested adding that to tie in the cabinetry to the fridge. My adult kids nap on it often!! By the projects end, I couldn’t even make a decision on the cabinet hardware and Laura helped me there and even took the time to calculate and order for us!!
